Doing some research recently on Alaia surfboards looking to buy for my son, When i discovered a YouTube video of Dave Rastovich ripping on one of Tom Wegener’s latest boards. After watching his short Alaia segment I soon noticed that the video was really more of a testimonial/commercial for a recently new product called Power Balance Wristbands. Now i have never come across or heard of them quite surprised to see papa of all people hitting the mainstream and turning “commercial” more than usual. Well i thought if he’s endorsing for this product with such ferver, then i am going to look into it bit more. A few mouse clicks later, I was stunned by a review of candid video outtakes of top surfers personally endorsing, and trying out this product for the first time and being blown away! After a dozen videos I was still a bit skeptical but the candid and surprised looks on their faces during the random tests were enough to make me want to see what Power Balance Wristbands are all about.
